HBC Calamine Lotion

My son had a red butt area recently. I bought what looked like a very clean zinc based ointment since we ran out of your baby diaper balm (which we LOVE). My son cried when I used the other brand. Unfortunately upon reading the ingredients again I saw alcohol was included and I’m assuming it burned him. Poor thing :(

I checked my HBC stock and decided to try your calamine lotion. My mom heart was so happy when my son had zero tears or painful response when applied and his rash was gone in a day with three-ish uses total. My husband came home from work and even commented on how great his butt looked compared to when he had changed him the previous evening.

I have to say I was a little surprised this calamine lotion really does clear up rashes for me and I know I’m not putting chemicals on my body, which is really wonderful

If I have this within reach, its a daily go-to for my allergic reactions, hives, eczema AND dries out bug bites overnight. Highly recommend over and over again. NOTHING LIKE STORE BOUGHT

I ordered this after getting poison ivy for the first time ever. I had read that calamine lotion helps a lot of people, but I didn’t want to use something full of harsh ingredients. Not only did this product work for me — it converted my husband, too. He’s extremely allergic to poison ivy and has used calamine lotion for decades with little relief. He tried this and was blown away by how effective it was. As a bonus, it smells really nice. This will definitely be a permanent part of our first aid kit.
